Field Trip to Delaware
Ok, technically it was a pleasure trip. We were overdue for a Rebel fix. And what a blessing it was!!! Beautiful weather, lots of laughs and great friends. The only bad part was saying good-bye!
I forgot my camera charger, so I lived in fear of my camera dying on me at any moment. What does this mean? That I was not as picture happy as normal. I had to restrain myself. Most of the pictures are from Saturday – our educational field trip to the Agricultural Museum. Great fun!!!
(**Please note that I had issues with Photobucket so they are not in a sensible order. Ugh! So just play along and let’s pretend they are.)
A special Sunday treat! Homemade ice-cream. Yum! Caleb was dying to help out and Mr. Rebel was more than willing to have an extra hand or two. I think Caleb was more excited about making it than eating it. A great shot of Mr. Rebel, I think!
And funny things happen in DE. A deer spotting in the midst of making ice-cream. Hmmm, interesting……
Monday morning a bit of cooking needed to be done before the Tribe headed out.
At the Agri Museum…..The question pondered: Who will jump in first a Rebel or a Tribe Member???
An example of how my hubby is wrapped around all the girlie fingers in the Tribe household:
Cute, isnt’ it? I want to frame it. Precious.
Isn’t she beautiful? I think so. And creative. Unrestrained creativity. Want to see? Keep scrolling…..
Educational pursuits abound – a little music lesson on a Sunday evening
Remember Miss Beautiful Unrestrained Creativity? Here she is cleaning up her lastest masterpiece. (Yes, she is 7 and still occasionally writes on non-writing surfaces.)
Rebel Queen teaching the servants how to do her laundry correctly next time….
Child containment area a.k.a An Enclosed Garden. We had to force them to leave. They loved it!
Practicing the buddy system…. they were all so impressed with the outhouses. Some were 3 seaters!
Admission at the agri museum. Super nice lady figured out the cheapest way for our group of 14 to get in!!!
Mary on the Prairie…not quite. But this house was great! Too dark on the inside to get good pictures. I think my girls could have played house for hours!
I even let my kiddos play with mud…Ok it was contained mud but they didn’t care!
Bekah & Maggie helping gather eggs. This one cracks me up.
We threw them in a pit for a while…..
There was an old one room schoolhouse. Can we say all my girls’ Little House dreams come true? Most of my pics did not turn out great. But this was a good shot of Caleb.
I think the stress got to TribeDaddy and he tried to bite the child’s head off!!!!!
Something else that should be noted. Queen Rebel had her kiddos all color coordinated. Just so happened that I packed a navy blue polo shirt for Caleb. He blended in so well with the Rebels!!
Also, please note, that for some unknown reason no pictures with the Bird Man turned out!! Sorry,J!!!!! But you can check him out here!

Looks like a great time
Looks like y’all had tons of fun. Love the picture of your leastun and her daddy. And I love Bekah’s beautiful long braid.
