Diaper Duty
One of the advantages of a “large” family is that you always have a willing volunteer for any task. Hmm, it might be better to say that you have many opportunities for delegation. One task that I do not delegate, unless it is an emergency situation, is diaper duty. Diapers are mom’s responsibility. I enjoy diaper duty. I know it’s weird. But in the craziness of the day, I can take Mr. Cuteness into my room and have a quiet moment to tickle his toes and talk to him. We share lots of smiles and great conversation. Mr. Cuteness loves to chat.
However, someone in the house is on to my secret. She totally ignores the icky, wet diapers and wants to steal a moment with Mr. Cuteness, too. She feels that he needs to be entertained while I change his diapers.

Please note the nose suction device. Mr. Cuteness was suffering from a stuffy nose. I did not let Hannah help with that task.
