Mourning the loss…
of the climbing tree. My dear friend, J, you are not alone. Mary said that was one thing she was going to miss about the “old house”; that wonderful climbing tree. But! We are now blessed with a flower garden!! It is lovely! We have plans to add a bird bath and such. One bird feeder is already hanging up awaiting some guests. The tree will be missed. read more

All I want for Christmas is a pocket knife.
No, this was not from my son. This was from Bekah. She was asked by a family member what she wanted for Christmas. She said she wanted a pocket knife. Interesting. Not sure that she will be getting that request. She also asked for paper, pencils, yarn, ribbon and knitting stuff. Now that sounds more like Bekah. Pocket knife. Could I get that in pink? read more

Another Mary Moment….
she has just been on a roll today; what can I say? We were enjoying dinner and chatting with daddy. I was telling my wonderful hubby how we had finally gotten all caught up on schooling. Without a moments hesitation, as she was scooping up a forkful of food, Mary points out that we did not do science. Really, Mary? Thanks, hon.
